- The longer you labor at the hospital, the more interventions that can happen. Do your best to labor as long as possible at home, if that’s what you want to do.
- If you want to leave early, as your pediatrician if they can do the newborn screenings at your home the following day.
- Hire a midwife to check you the following day, as well.
